Blake Lively's brother-in-law, Justin Baldoni, responds to lawsuit filed against him.
Blake Lively's brother-in-law Bart Johnson is not shy about sharing his true feelings about Justin Baldoni. Actor Bart Johnson, husband of Blake's sister Robin Lively, shared his thoughts on the “It Ends With Us” actor and director on X following the Gossip Girl star's lawsuit against the former Jane the Virgin star.
Simply put, Johnson called Baldoni a “fraud” and claimed that he is using his curated image as Feminist Alley as a “costume,” adding, “None of it is real. It's all theater,” he added.
“Review his videos with a more critical eye and watch him glorify himself with feigned modesty and self-deprecation,” wrote the “High School Musical/Musical: The Series” star. What a performance.”
Johnson is just one of many voices supporting Lively and her complaints. Earlier in the week, Lively's sister and Johnson's wife, Colleen Hoover, her “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-star and friend Jenny Slate, Amber Heard, and even Paul Feig, director of both “Simple Favors” films, spoke out.
After the complaints, Baldoni was dropped by WME representatives, podcast co-host Liz Plank quit the show, and people like Nick Viall have taken issue with Baldoni's behavior and image.
“I'm skeptical of people who are always perfect and always seem to be right,” Viall, a Bachelor native, said on his podcast in August. “All I know is that when the entire cast unfollows Justin Baldoni, as justification for why and whose side to take, the internet is going to go back and find every moment that Blake Lively was rude."[11
“I felt like this guy was cosplaying as an ally,” Viol said in a new video posted on TikTok four days ago, detailing his interview with Baldoni on his podcast.
Quoting Johnson, Viall ended the video by saying, “He's a fraud.”
