Princess Charlotte can't stop smiling at her mother Kate Middleton's Christmas carol concert.

Kate Middleton's annual Christmas Carol Concert has become an important event for the royal family, and in 2024, Princess Kate used a number of talented performers, and her daughter Princess Charlotte was especially delighted to watch a group of ballet dancers during the event She was overjoyed, ITV reported.

It was previously revealed that Kate Middleton was excited to surprise Charlotte, who is said to be a big ballet fan, with the Royal Ballet dancers. Judging by Princess Charlotte's happy expression in the ballet section of the carol concert, it seems that Princess Kate achieved her goal.

The princess also revealed that Prince Louis helped surprise the ballet dancers. Sky News shared the video on TikTok, in which Princess Kate said, “Louis knew the dancers and they talked over tea.” Princess Kate agreed to let the six-year-old know about the surprise as long as she did not tell Princess Charlotte.

“I asked Louis, ‘Can you keep it a secret because I want it to be a surprise for Charlotte, who loves ballet?’ And he said, 'Promise me, promise me, I won't say anything,'” Princess Kate explained.

Apparently, Kate Middleton was a bit shocked that Prince Louis was able to keep the secret from her sister. As shown in the video clip, Kate revealed to singer Paloma Faith: “I've been in the hospital for a couple of weeks! Maybe for a couple of weeks. Faith agreed that not telling Charlotte about the ballet dancer must have been “very challenging” for the little prince.

Princess Kate's Christmas carol concert was a huge success, showing royal fans how close the royal family remains after a turbulent year. Kate's close friendship with her “Royal Sister,” Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, was on display as the two shared a sweet kiss on the cheek upon arrival. Sophie also sat next to Kate throughout the concert.

Prince Andrew, however, did not receive an invitation to the December 6 event. According to the Daily Mail, “One double agent whispered that for the second year in a row, the proposal to invite Andrew to Kate's annual carol service, presumably to sit behind a pillar, had been rejected.”
