Chapelle Roan jokes about Christmas episode of “Glee” and immediately apologizes.
Chappelle Rone watched “Glee” for the first time and offered many thoughts on the show, especially the Christmas episode.
The singer posted a video on her Instagram account, which she co-runs with her creative director, Ramisha Sattar, on Monday night with her thoughts on the season 3 Christmas episode “Extraordinary Merry Christmas,” for comedic effect. on her Instagram account on Monday night. However, her thoughts caused a stir in the video's comments section, which was split over whether the episode really “sucked. [played by Darren Criss and Chris Colfer] posted over an image of popular couple Blaine and Kurt: “Guys. Everyone. Logging off. Maybe, maybe not.”
Almost immediately after that post, the duo shared another video - one in which Roan appears to be being knifed (by Sattar) - and apologized for her characterization of the “Glee” episode in question.
“This is an apology video to all the gleeks I have offended. I am so sorry. I love every episode of 'glee' and I love Kurt and Blaine.”
The two then posted another text overlay of “We've been hacked” over a photo of Kurt and Blaine, followed by some iLol emojis, with apparently followers (who also joined in on the joke with their parasocial favorites and and were definitely laughing) and having fun.
Roan celebrated her first Grammy nomination with Sattar, who has long played an important role in the artist's aesthetic and creative choices on stage and in her music videos. Roan, who recently won Best New Artist at the MTV Awards, feels certain to win the award when the Grammys are announced on live television on February 1, 2025 (perhaps more, given that she is nominated in a total of six categories).
