Here's my hyperbole: Jennifer Lopez wore a red dress on Christmas Eve; on December 23, the pop star took to Instagram to promote her holiday gifts. She tried out J.Lo Beauty's “Glow in the Dark” products, applying various shimmers to her lips, cheeks, and chest before heading out the door.

Lopez's Head to Toe Glow Kit is certainly worthy of a holiday wish list, but I'm going to write Santa a strongly worded letter about her little red dress. The “On the Floor” singer went through a button-down mini and then into a festive crimson satin. Spicy slits ran down her thighs and a wrap detail at the waist. The upper half was professional, the lower half a bit NSFW, and the overall vibe was loud, luxurious, and very J.Lo.

In typical Lopez fashion, she accessorized with her signature gold hoop earrings. These earrings in particular were studded, adding to the holiday spirit. In addition to her sparkling glamour, the star also had an impeccable hair day. Her blonde hair was curled into waves with bouncy curtain bangs.

Lopez had been dressed for the season all week; on December 21, she met her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, in a fun after-ski sweater. Again, she wore hoop earrings and paired the knit with wide-leg jeans.

All of these outfits raise the question of Christmas: perhaps the phrase should be “Santa slay.”
