For those who celebrate Christmas, it is often used as a milestone for the most important events in life. A baby's first Christmas, the first snow of Christmas, and a couple's first Christmas are all considered special and important days.

Selena Gomez and her new husband-to-be Benny Blanco are just one of many couples celebrating their first Christmas as engaged couples. To mark the occasion, they reportedly descended on New York City to attend a party on the evening of December 25.

The newly engaged couple dressed casually for the holidays, each coordinating shades of camel and winter white. Gomez wore a cream wrap coat and matching knit beanie, while Ugg paired her oatmeal-colored sweatshirt with Ugg's suede classic ultra mini shearling booties.

Her camel boots matched perfectly with Blanco's tan topcoat. He, however, paired his neutral outerwear with white jeans and snakeskin boots. (Kim Kardashian also wore snakeskin-patterned boots this holiday, making them a popular choice.)

Their neutral night out marked their first public appearance since Blanco proposed in a romantic picnic display earlier this month. Blanco proposed with a large marquise diamond on a glittering white gold pave band.

They just celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this winter, but have collaborated on music since 2015. 'He is absolutely everything in my heart,' Gomez previously wrote on Instagram. 'He is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is still the best of anyone I've ever been with."
