They are in the midst of divorce settlement, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez still care about each other.

The former couple had lunch together in Los Angeles on December 22 and exchanged holiday gifts. Affleck, the “Gone Girl” actor, gave Lopez a signed book about Marlon Brando.

“Ben gave Jennifer the book because she is a fan, plus her Super Bowl bodysuit was inspired by Marlon Brando,” a source told Page Six.

“The gifts were mostly for each other's kids, but they also exchanged little things with each other.”

The source also said the exes “have maintained an amicable relationship despite the ongoing divorce proceedings.”

Earlier this month, Lopez opened up to British Vogue about the “hardships” she has faced this year.

“I think the way I overcome things is not to think it's happening to me, but to think it's happening for me, and what are the lessons to be learned in that moment,” Lopez said. 'By thinking about things that way and being in a more positive frame of mind, it's easier to accept that as a lesson learned.'

Meanwhile, Affleck is “healthy, single, and enjoying life,” a source told People this month. The source added that the actor is excited to spend the winter vacations with his children.

While this Christmas season may look different for the two A-listers, it is clear from Affleck's gifts that they still have affection for each other.
